Rumour Mongerers and Gossips

Overheard....yes I overheard that Mugabe is running for another term in Zimbabwe...and i also overheard that South Africa is supporting Zanu PF...or what is that name for zimbabwe ruling party? I have no full information about this i just heard that...somewhere. But anyway thats not my point of writing this post.

All of us have friends and our friends have us as friends even our enemies were once friends. But how we relate with each other is vital to the duration of the relationship. Some of us are very restless in terms of how we handle ourselves with information that come our way. Am talking of 'us' yes we are all guilty at any one point in our lives...guilty of carrying rumours and remixing them every time we deliver them to the next recipient. But there is a particular class of people who are ''pathological'' gossipers and rumour mongerers. Once they get to hear something...the flow of blood is biologically at a point not recommended by doctors....very high. they want to get to the podium and drop the breaking news even without getting official CNN, CIA and FBI confirmation.

Today was a typical one...this dude -- Oluoch! (not real name) comes across a disgrantled partner who is fed up with a certain foot soldier in some sales company, he is keen to hear the whole story (the rest of us are like...this shouldnt get to the affected). All the dirt that was said should've been kept under the waters..but Oluoch with his blood pressure uncontrollably inviting herbalists cant wait to meet the foot soldier. Foot soldier shows up and Oluoch is all over the place...(I personally didnt imagine that info he had was burning his lips). Gossips gossips all the dirt until the linen is no more linen...The foot soldier calls me to ask of it...(the damage was already done...contrary to what me and my other friend believed in..keeping it low). I just played PR and more PR, later i called my friend and informed him of the ''newsflash'', he was disappointed..but what to do..i asked him to play PR.

THAT GOSSIP DID NOT SEND A GOOD SIGNAL DOWN THE LINE.
AND THEREFORE FRIENDS.......just be careful of what you say about people. The net effect could be unfavourable to either you and/or indirectly to people close to you.

GOSSIPS can also spoil a broth!
