Why Arsenal Will not be crowned champions!
Dennis Oliech said he's not playing for the national team because of xyz Mariga abc ok blah blah, well Oliech's side is facing relegation in the French league...what next! As for Mariga...i think he is injured let me not talk about him that much, I might inflict more pain on the injury; I wish him quick recovery.
So this season Gor Mahia started on a wrong foot and AFC leopards sharpened their claws. These two teams always exhibit football madness as we all know the two clubs boast of a large fan following in the country than any other club in the league. Their history is something you want to admire...but they always have a weakness -- every time when the club is doing fine on the pitch there are chaos in the boardrooms. Just now there are lots of garbage around AFC leopards leadership. These chaps got to be reminded that it is we the fans who make the club be what it ought to be. Don't drag your personal interests in club matters. I hope we have this mess cleaned up asap!
Local football is slowly coming back to the good old standards and I've started to attend some matches; yeah but am a life follower of the English premier league. My personal opinion is that this is the best league in the world. And ever since I started watching the EPL this season has been one of the most interesting, challenging and disappointing, if you are an arsenal, and Manchester united fan then you know what am talking about. Previously we've had to do with the BIG FOUR teams but that was destroyed by the entry of the Etihad investors and resurgence of the middle tier teams like Spurs and Newcastle. Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea were the 4 forces to deal with in the EPL in the previous seasons. Only chelsea and liverpool have had to clinch a trophy this season, Arsenal will win nothing 'as well as' Manchester United i.e. if Queens park rangers lose to Balotelli and the rest of the Etihad Kingdom masters.
The saddest thing will be for Bolton wanderers to be relegated, which for me looks destined to happen unless Stoke City allow to grant the points to once Arsenal's Bogey team. Actually QPR have Stoke City as a prayer Item. Bolton are certain that the Rangers will not collect a point from Man city who are determined to put their hands on the prestigious silverware. Tony Pulis holds the key, am not sure of the blood between him and these two fellows Mark Hughes and Owen Coyle. Its a hard one to call if you ask me. Bolton has won their last 3 matches Stoke City have won only 1 of their last 10 matches and lost 4...do the maths...but remember the match will be played at the Britania Stadium.
Let's now put focus on the 3rd & 4th position, this is a battle royale 3 teams have the chance to finish 3rd or 4th or 5th; these are Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle. On sunday they all face stiff opponents with a derby in there. Spurs play Fulham at the Lane (this is a tough derby to call with Dempsey enjoying his role as a keeper tormentor) Its a must win for Spurs. Newcastle travel to Goodison park where I highly doubt they will pick up the points. Everton are in a fine form and the least they can pick from the clash is a draw, which will mean either Newcastle finish 4th or 5th depending on how spurs play. Spurs and Newcastle will all go for the points, those are two matches that would make me wanna sign-up for triple play from the payTv providers. That is not done because Arsenal have a tricky trip to The Hawthorns to face unpredictable West Brom. Although West brom have only won 2 of their last 10 games and picked 2 draws they have always given Arsene Wenger food for thought. Each clash of every season between the two clubs has always left arsene hitting his water bottle on the ground. Robin van Persie who won two awards this campaign is a player who if you ask me wouldn't want to miss playing in the champions league, he will be there to ensure that Arsenal qualify with a win. He has played in all matches this season without a breather. He is the sole player Wenger has his hopes in securing third place. Arsene Knows! Well he should know that there is no other game other than this; he better rally his players to play and win it like a final (actually it is a final for them). Again....it could be a make or break game for Robin van Persie--will he extend the contract?? So a prayer item for arsenal is for both Spurs and Newcastle to lose or pick up draws. Arteta is all they miss; but Alex Song has since become that wild player with secret ideas for van Persie's left foot.
None of the teams want to finish 4th reason being Chelsea will finish 6th with hopes of clinching the champions league trophy -- meaning they automatically take up the 4th slot for UEFA champions league trophy. That said it will be interesting to see which team really values the champions league tune being played at their stadium next season. Chelsea already have a trophy (FA) even if they fail to qualify they will be the better losers this campaign same as Liverpool.
Now for the final full-stop to the campaign Manchester United vs Manchester City. Manchester United has resigned in prayers that QPR hands them the trophy, well Mark Hughes was once a Manchester united player he is a fan of Manchester united and how he's gonna reward SAF is.....to play a defensive game and force a draw (really?????). Sunderland FC will always give Manchester united the points no matter what. Martin o'Neill has nothing to lose and nothing to play for..well just to honor the match. On the other hand Manchester City are not praying for anything all they know is they have to hit QPR with no mercies at all...and this will be confirmed in stoppage time....which for me Manchester City are this seasons Champions. Arsenal handed the trophy to Man united by beating city at the emirates stadium only for United to allow Everton to spoil the party for them, it was also given and signed that United were going to fall at the Etihad and yes Kompany used his head to force De Gea pick the ball from the back of the net and take it to the centre half. You've got to give kudos to one Sir Alex ferguson, he had a very weak squad, most players were out injured but they've managed to fight to the wire. It is one season that I have watched Manchester united play and win nothing...Oh the community shield will feature Manchester city vs Chelsea fc. Roberto Di Mateo.......this man!!
PS: I know almost all Arsenal fans will follow the link to this article just because the headline has the word 'Arsenal'. In Arsene We Trust, Arsene Knows. Lets meet Next season and hope M'villa signs for the Gunners. Arsenal have failed to win it this season because they have a pathetic medical team, and Arsene Wenger knows how to sign midfielders and Not strikers...at least Poldoski has signed. Whats your take?
